DTE Endurance moves into the Philippines

The DTE Endurance team is excited to welcome aboard and announce a long-term agreement with one of the largest event organisers in the world, Run Rio. 

With a staggering 250,000 + participants taking place across over 40 events each year, RUNRIO INC. was founded by its President Rio de la Cruz (RIO), a UP Diliman alumnus, elite & celebrity runner, international marathoner, and a sought-after running coach.

With growth of the running community through areas of ASIA, Rio and the team looked to invest in innovations that would raise the bar in organized sporting events in the region. Since then, RUNRIO has organized the majority of the premier races in the Philippines such as RUNRIO TRILOGY, MILO MARATHON, CONDURA MARATHON and many more. Most Notably, Rio organised the globes largest single day event of all time, ‘ A run for the Pasig River’ which attracted 116,086 walkers and runners.

Understanding that technology is not stagnant and that participants are looking for more than a ‘simple’ registration system, Rio evaluated many options before proceeding to DTE Endurance and Race Roster,

“It’s important for me that the platform is intuitive and easy to use for my team and most importantly participants. This should only be the basics of what organisers of all size should be looking at though. Technology and the way we consume changes so rapidly that we as organisers need to ensure we are ready and future proof our events. Race Roster has regular new adaptions almost daily, with the DTE Endurance team keeping me in the loop of those changes.

Rio explained some of the immediate and tangible value he saw in Race Roster.
